This song brings a tear to my eyes when I hear it these days. I was 25 or 26 when this song was released. I'm a 60 year old goat, now. So much history, so many things, & people I'll never see again. People I loved dearly, I had no idea existed yet. So many people who weren't even born yet.

My dad talks about my mom had long hair like Chaka and looked like her. Mom died in 1997 at age 41 from COPD and Kidney Failure. Being a grown single man, this song puts me in my feelings every time! Rest in Peace mom, Ida Marie Hunt Wilson, of Memphis, TN January 13, 1956 - August 8, 1997.
