Empty envelopes - I recently got back an empty envelope from Steve Garvey. I sent him 3 cards and he sent them back. BUT, someone, after the envelope was canceled through the postal service, peeled the closing flap and stole the cards, then resealed it and let it go through. I've also received empty envelopes where I'm sure the player signed the card(s) and forgot to put them back in and then sent the envelope on.

That would be my first thought, forgot to put the cards in and then someone else is excited they got extra cards.😅 both postmarks from Portland so that's the odd thing about it.

You should take an eraser to the shinier cards. It helps the ink stick better. 👍🏽

Thanks Johnny. I did that with the Gold Label. I use the magic eraser from Mr Clean. Less residue.

Steve Foster was a great pitching coach for Rockies, I think it was 2018 it seemed Freeland, Senzatela, and others were just really clicking as far as Coors Field expectations go

I have found it very valuable over the years to just put the initials of the person in one corner of the SASE and the date sent in the other corner. As long as you have a log on startiger, sportscardforum, etc. you can figure it out by the postmark.
