It came over like they thought things just magically work out for me, I don't think they appreciated all the work I put into attending college/university/work/courses in my own time. This last time around they seemed like they were there for me but my intuition was telling me it was off, like they were just saying the things they know to say but didn't mean it and they were more reliable because they knew I could be of great benefit to them. I never knew which version of them I would get. But I don't spend time with anyone any more, family or not, that do 'joke' put downs and mind games.
