Santa Fe, New Mexico is an amazing and historic United States city with tons to offer the tourist. Amie and I spent four days exploring the city and the surrounding area and really fell in love with all of the amazing experiences we had while there. Be sure to explore the city if you get the chance and let me know what your favorite spot is in Santa Fe in the comments.

I'd love to visit this place. I'm from North Carolina so it's another world for me. But a great place to practice Spanish I'm sure as well as learn about this ancient part of our history. NM seems like what a Native American society would look like today

I too live in Santa Fe. Good job! You got some good highlights there. Of course, you can spend years here and still discover new things about Santa Fe. I would add yet another church. The Santuario de Chimayo. As well as a drive up the mountain to the Santa Fe Ski Basin. Talk about great sunsets, this is a good one.

I would recommend the ski basin, it’s a 15 mile drive through the mountains with some of the best views in the state. There are dozens of camping grounds and wildlife along the way up. Also, Ten Thousand Waves is a good spa resort just outside downtown. Definitely need a video on restaurants though, there are just so many!

Youissed chimayo, the sand where the crucifix was found. A church was built over the sight. But at the people's request a hole was left on the floor, where the cross was found. People claim miracles when they take some of the sand. No matter how much sand is taken, it never depletes. A miracle In itself

Great tour of a place I really love! You covered most of it, I'll have to say, but when you were headed down the mountain from Bandelier on New Mexico Route 4 if you went just a few miles further you'd have come to an amazing place now called the Valle Caldera, formerly known as the Valle Grande and also as the Bacca Location no.1. The Bacca was a cattle ranch that was given to Louise De Bacca by the king of Spain. It encompassed pretty much the entire north central part of the state. Since then the ranch was sold off in parcels until only 98,000 achers were left and then in the late 90's it became a possession of the U.S. Forest Service. I was a cowboy on the ranch between 1996 and 1999 while the Dunagan Corporation of Texas owned it. It's an amazing property and is open to the public. South of the Valle Caldera on Route 4 is Spense Hot Spring, one of the nicest hot springs I've ever visited. The water is Geo thermally heated to a temperature of 101° year round. The Jemez mountains are very volcanicly active and are home to many great springs. The town of Jemez Springs is another 10(?) miles to the south of Spence Hot Springs. For many years it was a ranching community and durring the second world war it nearly became the site of the National Laboratory but Los Alamos won out because the War Department was looking for a mountain town with only one road in and out. N.M.4 went through Jemez Springs and terminated in Los Alamos at that time and that is why the National Labs were built there. Einstein and Oppenheimer did make many of the final calculations in the development of the atomic bomb in Jemez Springs in what is now The Jemez Mountain Inn, a very nice B&B. There are many nice places to stay there and there are a number of great eating places and art galleries to check out. Were I in Santa Fe looking for things to do I'd definitely go to the Jemez. It's not far. The people there are wonderful and Route 4 is designated a National Scenic Biway and I'm sure I couldn't recommend a more beautiful place to see. By the way, there is an authentic cowboy saloon and restaurant called, Los Ojos (the eyes). Food is great and that's where the locals go. Worth investigating. Thanks for the video!

Einstein didn't have anything to do with plus albums. He was not a "nuclear" physicist. (Relevativistic mechanics) Edward Teller actually did most of the calculations with a few other guys. They used a lot of women to actually do the repetitive computations. (PDE Solutions can be extremely repetitive. This is why computers made all the difference.) Oppeheimer was primarily involved with management. He was selected because of his friendship with so many of the scientists of the day. It turned out to be a mistake because he Foolishly have many of the secrets to the soviets. [ I am retired from working in this area. (Research engineer) I knew and worked with many of the scientists. Teller was the most brilliant man I've ever worked with. Met him while I was in graduate school at Stanford.] The National Atomic Museum in Albuquerque gives some of the story. (Most of the truth will never be known outside the classified world.)
