Seems weird seeing a Dennis Eagle bin lorry in Oz, they are made about 70 miles from where i live and I spent 22 years working on the back of them. It still makes me cringe when I think about what I have thrown in the back without realising what they was worth like clearing out an electrical shop and throwing about 100 crt tellys and them getting crushed in the back and taking them to the landfill

Yes they are a recent addition I think. I don’t remember them as a kid. I’ve seen them crush a large French door type fridge and the neighbours couldn’t believe it. They thought they would take them separately. There is a seperate flatbed truck with cages that picks up large appliances but I rarely see it. A driver told me they dump what they crush onto a concrete pad, and fish out the metal, but not every the time. Thanks for the comment 👍👍

You don't miss much! Good weight for your haul. You have such a good collection to choose from. Have watched Campbelltown. You could fill up your trailer at one of their stops. Be safe, it looks like trees are turning . This must be your Fall season.😊

I like how you said, I don't have the patients for that, I have those days too. When you take all those gardening supplies, pots, plants, so on & so forth, is there anyway that we could see your yard. I like your scrapping techniques, but would really like to see your landscape, just curious.

Thanks mate. I’ll let the PS1 dry out a little longer. A lot of what’s thrown out is cheap Kmart type things, so instead of fixing a kettle, they just buy a new $10 one.

The seasol is liquid seaweed for the garden and yes I was next to a primary school or elementary school it might be called in the US

Do you ever find rich jewelry or old coins etc? Repurposeful ALWAYS looks thru the bags n boxes and finds expensive jewelry. He looks also in their bathroom bags boxes or if they get rid of old er sink drawers ladies take off jewelry to shower n forget. Look in bags drawers n boxes thoroughly. Also if kids throw away parents boxes without looking after they passed. He’s found old uncirculated money n riches kids just throw out not looking! 😱😮
