Why has no one said anything about the trombones... they held that fucking godly sound and carried the chords without error and breathed all at the same time... the entire song. They're like robots man. But they deserve props for holding it down.

Really the one issue with most bands today is how much credit the brass section gets versus woodwinds. When I ask people about the bands they like most are brass heavy with not much love shown to the woodies. And hearing this as a woodwind player makes me want to play a brass instrument when I go into college. Same with DCI. I feel that I have to learn different instruments to have equal opportunities. But dont get me wrong I love all instruments, but I do feel woodwinds need some love and equal chances...

dude straight up. Southern has actually been showing their ass since Haymer took over. No disrespect to Jackson or the late Doc but they been on it. Another band I done grew to love in which the need to have a classic or something with is Tennessee State. I'm sorry but in my opinion they just murdered ASU and JSU.

+haz Austin when it comes to Southern and now Tennessee State or anybody that turns it up in the stands I call it "Playing with violence". Because that's what it seem. They are going to show they can scream well, they are loud and the last note on most of their songs is going to hit you in the mouth. Lol. Another thing it seem that is going on that seen they worked on is the holding over sometime on last notes. Look at Southern clips in the past trumpets mostly seem to hold over on the screaming. They have improved that a lot since Haymer took over.

That's so rude, they worked hard for this not only the leaders but the children. And you need to respect the fact that they tried and the fact that you got to hear them, because they could've just only let the people who were there listen to this but they didn't because they want people to hear it. So stop complaining about something you couldn't nor did you do. So you should be grateful and not insult the staff and teachers that put their hard work into this
