Күн бұрынIn today's video I found some GOOD fish on a Texas rigged plastic. A Texas rig is excellent for throwing at shallow wood and avoiding snags. My saying of, "Find wood, pitch to wood..." definitley proved successful today!!!

Even with a Texas rig it does take some practice to get a feel for how to pop it out consistently. Don't give up.

As a 100 % bank angler, thanks for covering bank fishing. I am glad to see you get off shore at least a few times though. I'm even more glad you show us how to fish parallel to the bank. My three biggest fish this year were caught by doing this. I love pre-spawn. Nice work Debo. Thanks again.

some folks fishing channels get some success and their egos grow proportionally with their success. Bu the time they have 100K subs they suddenly believe they are something their not. I haven't thrown a D Bomb yet. I do throw the Baby D Bomb though. I love the way it's compact and moves more water than the other creature baits out there. Been throwing the Ned Bomb now for 3 weeks. Dog Days are just a few weeks away & it's definitely time to go finesse now. I do use a bobberstop on a 1/8 oz tungsten weight and EWG hook. I will pinch off the smaller pinchers on clear days and dip the tips orange or chartreuse. Early morning I use a rattle for more aggressive fish. Missle Baits are exactly what they say..... serious plastic baits!!!!! I love em!!!!!! Grande Fishing 5"Airtail Rattler worm is a great choice too. Fish here have gotten to be more cautious about hitting artificial. So only the seriously dedicated plastics worm slangers know you have to modify & even manicure your presentations to be successful. Thanks for sharing Missle Baits stuff. The Quiver worms are what I think I'm going to attempt with a Gika rigs this weekend. Fish around here haven't seen much of this technique.

You’ve inspired me to keep grinding. My fiancé hurt her wrist and can’t go fishing with me anymore but I’ve started going alone. It was a bit off putting at first but it’s been some of the most relaxing time I’ve had. I go at least once a week and have noticed my catch rates going up as well as my confidence in a wider variety of techniques. My only problem is deciding what to pack and what to leave at home lol. Congrats on the five pounder, those are a treat in the Midwest lol.

There is nothing like that feeling of setting the hook and thinking you are snagged because it just takes a hit of drag and goes no where, then the rod loads up and it starts to shake. I just hit a 5lber last night on a wacky june bug senko while screwing with the trolling motor. Picked the slack up and thought I was snagged.
