I have been a semi-pro potter for many years. I can honestly say this shape is definitely one of the most difficult to throw. I've done many bottles but none so graceful as this piece. I never thought of drying them out with a torch as I go along-that would definitely help keep them from collapsing, as mine did so many times-thanks for the tip! Great job!

Matt I have watched this video SO many times :) I love pots that have "skinny necks" and you do them perfectly. It's a challenge I have every time I make one. I also use a blow torch on my pots, this enables me to throw taller AND I can make and finish the pot all in the same day :) Thanks "as always" Matt.
