So no. He didn't make the song. He was a co writer, but it was by the group Slave.

Slave’s first six albums are my favourites. It’s great hearing Steve Arlington’s distinctive voice alongside Thundercat’s bass playing. Mark Adams from Slave was a hell of a bass player. Real proper conscious Fungk - accomplished music produced by youngsters. Biased because I grew up loving the band but I envy you discovering them now.

Saw on last sat at Newport. Dennis absolutely ripped. He def doesn’t get the credit he deserves. Side note. JB wasn’t there. Mike Mitchell subbed. Gotta say he killed. Unreal festival set. I’ve never seen so many jaws dropped
