I will never stop being sick over this show being cancelled. And I will never forgive CN for greenlighting Thundercats: Roar.

It's a travesty this show was cancelled. I loved it, even today, years on, episode's such as "songs of the pettelars" in my opinion are some of the best, emotional and engaging I have seen from an animated show. I wish they agreed a one off special to finish the character story arcs and a final battle between Lion-o and Mum-Ra.

We deserve one more season, or at least a movie to tie up loose ends.

It was nothing short of a crime to cancel this. This reboot was amazing, I'd say perfect even.

It’s a pity Thundercats 2011 got cancelled. There were so much that was going to happen in season 2 like a crossover between Silverhawks and Tigershark, and the introduction of some humans from the original series. We can only hope whenever the series is going to make a comeback. Right now, I am trying to make a fanfic that wraps up the story to bring some closure.

Too bad the show was axed. It had so much potential. Love the ending though. Also, Happy 10th Anniversary 'ThunderCats' (2011)!

ThunderCats is one of my favourite shows and I swear this has the best animation and the characters are awesome and the character arcs are amazing.

They had it right on the 💰 in 2011, WTH?! They should have kept it going, I mean my goodness, the storyline, the action, it was dead on perfection. Bring it back!!

Why do all the GOOD shows get canceled? Better question, why do all the GOOD shows get really BAD reboots?

They NEED to restart this series from here. The lore of how the Thundercats came to be was so compelling. Hopefully, someone will actually bring this up at the next staff meeting at CN Headquarters

If this show was continued and finished properly, it would’ve been now viewed as one of the best CN shows as well as one of the best modern reboots. It sucks to see it end in such a horrible way.

I use watch old thundercats 1985 when I was kid and I was watching thundercats season 1 final scene and I hope thundercats season 2 lion o go after pumyra to be friends again. In thundercats 1985 lion o met girl with bow and arrow willa and nayda need more girls. Thundercats when lion o blame pumyra and wilykit told Lion o about Earth friends wilykit said you know why? lion o you believe in and wilykit go to pick up the lion o the sword of omens and when wilykit handing lion o his sword of omens and wilykit question find more stone or what? And lion o lift his sword of omens make it glow and lion o said yes. Hope be more lion o girls with bow and arrow name Willa and Nyada are next.

What a shame that the show was canceled I really thought it had a lot of potential. When I hear Thundercats was coming back years later, I was excited only to be disappointed because instead we got ThunderCats Roar, something they clearly took inspiration from teen titans go which is not a good inspiration in my opinion. Man if Netflix worked on it I’m pretty sure it will give the show the love it needs but now it is faded to obscurity

I wish Dreamworks could’ve continued this on Netflix. It could’ve gotten an extra season or movie. They could’ve maybe even had a crossover with She-Ra with Catra discovering she’s actually a Thunderian.

While I am sad this show was canceled, I was able to dig up some info on what Season 2 could have been. Willykit and Wilykat find out El Dora was a separate plain and therefore impossible to get to, Tygra was going to kill Pumyra in her insect like monster form, causing more friction between him and Lion-O, Slithe's reason why he and the lizards sided with Mumm-Ra was because Lynx-O let Slithe's family get slaughtered, but soon would have betrayed Mumm-Ra by giving Lion-O the last Stone, at the cost of his life to be his redemption and to be with his wife and children again. Lion-O was going to train in the Book of Omens for 10 years, during that time, Tygra and Cheatara would marry and became King and Queen over a new Thundara and Willykat would become a king of thieves while Willykit waited for Lion-O to return. She would also become Lion-O's wife after the battle with Mumm-Ra and sadly, Tyrga would be killed, saving his little brother. They didn't say if Lion-O would use the stones to bring him back to life or not but he would have made a stone statue of Tygra to honor him. Also during the final battle, the Drifter would return along with the Swordsmen the Duelist had defeated with their returned swords to help out and Peace would finally been restored and all animals would live together as equals.

I remember watching this episode back then. I was expecting this story to have a grand conclusion, but it never happened. Cheetaras line almost says it all “the berbils will get you ship flying again…eventually.” Sadly that “eventually” just hurts to hear. That implies this city was never repaired and back up and running, like this show. Very depressing.

"There's still one more stone left? Are we gonna find it, or what?" No, actually. :(

In the end it is all about profits. I wish the show was under a different company. I think it belongs to WB which is with CN,sadly. Their last rendition Thundercats Roar flopped. And the current direction of simple designs are more common. I wish CN had a mixture for those who wanted a more detailed storyline and designs.

I don't believe that the ending, one day it will continue the second season and then we'll see the true ending

The best way I described the ending to my friend is imagine when every marvel characters came out of the portal from doctor strange to defeat thanos from endgame and when captain america said "avengers, assemble", the screen fades to black and ended with your own imagination

I hated that this show was cancelled. I began as a fan on the 1980's show, but this was just so well put together.

Too bad I was born in 2010 I never watched this show, the only thundercats I've watched is the 2018 one and I'm disappointed

i remember watching this episode as a kid and waiting for the next season to start i was so exited... then the years passed... this ended up on my list of shows i had forgotten and now that i see it again my child self is wondering is the next season is coming and im just trying to comfort that small part of myself saying to it "no, its not coming back" Im 26 years old now and i really do miss these good shows

To ruin it for all of you, Wily Kit was actually meant to be his Queen in the future. And that's including the time skips he'd have in the Book of Omens not once, but twice he goes in it to age him even further. Oh yes, they were going there.

I guess this could be the end of The Thundercats and I should have been able to start off with Lion-O, Cheetara & Tygra while I had the chance.

If there was one place to bringing this show back, it could be on HBO max. Since He man is on Netflix, the show could get the same love and get one more season. Or a movie to help out end this. But, will have to wait.

It still boggles my mind that this Fantastic Thundercats series was canceled by The CN, but they kept broadcasting a lot of brain-dead mindless crap like Thundercats GO, among others.

Pumyra treachery is like Blue Dragons Zolas. Only happened cause there was no Bengali nor Lynx to help her.

It always annoys me when they cancel shows that actually have a story and narrative behind them after a season or two, more or less, while shows that just show something new every single episode, with almost no cohesion to each other, beyond the characters, seem to last for dozens of seasons.

I was never a fan of the old Thundercats but this remake I enjoyed too bad it was cut short. I also enjoyed the 2000 remakes of TMNT and He-Man.

It sucks they cancelled this show because of toys. I wanted a Season 2 to find out what happened to Pumyra, a few years later the writers of the show at a convention did say what happened to her. She would have been turned into a giant insect monster and killed off. After hearing that I was disappointed and kinda glad they didn't do another season. I liked her character and it would have been great if they did a redemption arc where she was saved. Plus Lion-o would have a Queen. The writers also said apparently WilyKit would have ended up with Lion-O and I was like a hard "No" to that.
