Brazilian here and yes, it's normal to call him salsicha (sausage) around here, we're used to it, the reason (I think) is because when the series was going to be dubbed, nobody knew the shaggy pronunciation right, maybe because it was Brazil 1970 so someone had the idea to call him salsicha (sausage) which is the closest to shaggy in our language and maybe because of that we call him salsicha (sausage)

Americans treat the "word" Salsicha as an adjective for some reason. "Salsicha" is a proper noun, not an adjective or a pronoun.

Bidu is a brazillian name, and the reason why his called like is because of a video that is about a youtuber called pai troll making her sister guess the name of fnf characters and so mods she didn't play FNF, and she is the reason why this mod exist (i probably write alot of things wrong but i won't fix)
