Showing aggression in a public meeting.......but that was the point....it wasn't public. I hope locals take note of who they will be voting for in future.

Obviously Public attendance was intentionally restricted. Is It because they themselves will be seen as inadequate to the duties/tasks expected or that they feel they are somewhat superior & regard the public who actually live there as uninformed & just a nuisance ... 🤔

There's a lot strange stuff been going on with councils over last couple of decades. Actively having closed meetings is one of them. No wonder so many people don't bother to vote. Demockracy in action.

This Council is one of the worst. Had dealings with them for 40 years... They once tried to "acquire " some land for road alterations, when it was taken back and Meridian TV broadcast the story they very grudgingly and reluctantly purchased that which they attempted to commandeer...very arrogant. They own land nearby but refuse to enter into dialogue regarding THEIR obligations to contribute to Road repairs despite being put once notice many months ago.. They put up no parking signs on private property in full knowledge the road is private... This committee meeting with someone coughing like she has Covid and their general demeanour is a good example of ineptitude on a level that's too low to measure..
