I’d think a bed side ultrasound beats our hands to detect #s & texture of possible nodules .

Great speakers. It’s indeed req’ a team effort to catch thyroid cancer @ its earliest possible stage.

In my 30's I use to get clusters of calcium lodged behind my tonsils and would have to dig them out.

I just want professionals in the endocrine field to understand that even super tiny nodules hurt a lot bec they rub against the SCM muscle.

Yeah. I was just diagnosed with one, and I feel they don't get it at all. I can't swallow solid food, it get stuck in my throat ( even when it's chewed up real good, eating slowly, and in tiny pieces), it is very uncomfortable, and very painful going down. I pray they find out what it is ASAP in Jesus name, and do what they need to do. So I can get relief. I have been not able to really eat, and barely drink anything for almost a month now. Smh.

@@ladennayoung2939 Oh Ladenna, i am so so sorry. My love to you. Things will work out. Hahe you looked into ablation of the cyst? Sometimes they can do that if the nodule is half cyst or something. Look into it! Not many doctors perform the surgery but its better than removing the thyroid. Much love to you.

why are so many people developing thyroid issues? 4 out of five woman I know have thyroid disease, why? When I starting having problems I attributed it to my dentist and them using to much novacaine and to smoking!

my friend has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism he lives in considering in Colorado springs treatment for that condition there it is difficult to find someone being a mobile dog groomer with his own self employed business in this day financing is impossible hes thinking about going it alone I being a former electronic tech mentioned transducers I have worked with in years gone by. being forced into disability/unemployable due to stroke/heart attack and subsequent paralysis we are thinking about building our own sounds crazy don't it? your thoughts would be greatly appreciated if nothing else I bet you get free dog grooming for life. years ago I mentioned use of ultrasonic approach to a doctor who was skiing in mammoth lakes ski area he was nice enough to give me a lift from my work there apparently he listened to my theory la a couple years later they were used to break kidney stones since sound waves have an effect on solid semi solid objects depending on freq and amplification when several directed waves merge and overlap forming varied directed harmonics without damage surrounding tissue or organic masses
