@@AliouneUK According to one elevator enthusiast from Germany, JU means "Justierfahrt" which means "adjustment run" when translated to English. This is shown on the floor indicators when the elevator is unable to locate its position and will be finding its current position (relocate).

The -- means the elevator's totalled, can't move, stuck, door won't open, broken, messed up and it's out of service.

The - - also means lost position elevator should go to all floors and work again at least on Otis gen2

No it’s IF JU means when you try it to pry open inside/Outside IF means Elevator stops working means it is under inspection you cannot see the floor number what you on ?? Means elevator is rebooting and shows the floor number - - means Elevator is broken cannot go to different floor
