In this video I show how to use the TI 84 to find the value of a derivative of a function at a specific point. I also use it to show how to find the equation of a tangent to a function at any given point as well. Because we can find slopes or values of derivatives we can then use that information to also find equations of normals however there is no shortcut for the normal on your graphing calculator.
