I'm glad that Tia is setting boundaries and separating her professional life from her personal life. I think part of the backlash she has experienced comes from her putting her relationship out in the media as an example of black love . It was , but now instead of that just being a relationship people misguidedly feel invested and disappointed that it's ended and want her to be the villian for ending it.

This is so crazy so I truly always thought that I was going to have to marry some church guy and be like a pastor’s wife and be like miserable and like “obedient” and I did not really connect the dots of where that thought came from until this conversation 😮. I’m so happy to say that that was not the case and I’m in a healthy happy relationship with 2 great kids but I had subconsciously internalized the belief that God wanted me to be in that type of relationship if I was going to be a good Christian. 28:57
