Is it hard to get hired as a data analyst? I've read that a lot of companies over-hired underqualified data analysts and have now raised the standard significantly even for entry level data analysts. I am currently in consulting (no coding experience ) and am very interested in the tech industry, particularly data analytics. Do you have some suggestion on how someone like me can get my foot in the door in the data analytics space? Thank you!

Hi Tiara, great content!! I am really confused what do I want to pursue I like math and thought of actuarial degree and it might get boring especially with the study time you have to invest and I am already a sophomore in accounting major and thought of switching my major to data analytics but I am also interested in data scientist. Is really hard to purse data scientist and do I have to start from scratch for a computer science degree, please advise me.
