Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun is a real-time strategy video game developed by Westwood Studios and released in 1999. The main storyline follows the second major war between the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) of the United Nations, and the global terrorist organization known as the Brotherhood of Nod. The story takes place 30 years after the GDI had won the First Tiberium War in Command & Conquer.

I've always said it and will always say it. Tiberian Sun was an absolutely great game, it's a bit sad that it didn't catch on as much as the other games did, but it'll always have a special place to me. Also NOD is so much better than GDI, Lore wise I mean, gameplay wise, I favor the GDI shock and awe approach rather than the hit and run of the NOD. Thank you for uploading this right before the year 2020 hits, I certainly could use the nostalgia hit right before a the coming of a new decade, Cheers Zoom, have yourself a happy new year.

TS is definitely my personal favorite of the series, if not the entire RTS genre. Great story, awesome graphics, and a lot of replayability. If only the damned thing would work on Win10! I know it's possible, but I can't track down reliable sources of the mods needed. EA needs to fix that shit, after all, I paid them for a current version of the game. Then again, I blame M$ for breaking Windows in the first place. It worked fine under Win7.

@@IggyStardust1967 EA's never going to fix any of this, they never cared about their clients. Westwood used to but they were killed by EA. A case of internal corruption.

NOD is cooler thanks to charisma of Joe Kucan as Kane, who was a benefit of appearing in each game as immortal cult leader, meanwhile GDI cast rotates, because they don't have a benefit of immortality. I still like their classic, military approach and bringing bigger guns to a gunfight.

This game was what introduced to the world of gaming, funny thing is on the second mission I thought the MCV was some sort of tank so I just drove straight to the TV station then I noticed the deploy cursor there and so I built my entire base within the enemy base.

I cannot cound how often I have played both the campaigns of Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2... Both were fantastic games. This brings up so many memories. Maybe I should replay all those campaigns if I have some time...

I used to subscribe to PC Gamer and I found a trailer for TS on a disc from them and I was blown away. I watched it every day for months because it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen. I did get it for Christmas that year. What a great game

Omg. This brings childhood memories from my past when i was a teen and just started playing this. Now im in my early 30s and still like playing call of duty. i work retail now and i make 17 at food lion ❤❤❤❤ I never came late to work at food lion and ive been there 3 years. love this game❤❤ keep up the good work you deserve more subscribers and i pray you get them.

Cheers for doing all this, it's wicked. I never got round to playing through Tiberian Sun because I went straight from RA2 to Generals and Zero Hour, and I found it really hard to get back into this sort of gameplay. But I absolutely love the Tiberium Universe and the cutscenes, while cheesy, are still wicked. Also, what Cabal says about 7:37 "control the media, control the mind" oh my goodness, it's bonkers how relevant that is to present day society. WAY ahead of its time 🧐😊

@@zoom3000 Oh right, I didn't even know that 😅 I discovered Tiberian Sun after RA2. While watching this I was thinking. You know the remaster of the original C&C, if they were to remaster this game and RA2, they could use the engine from Tiberium Wars, and just move everything over from this game like sound effects, gameplay mechanics. Would be amazing 😄

@@Johny40Se7en They will not. Tiberium Sun shows too much how truly looks democracy ugly face behind media control;). Look at a opening scene, how General Solomon controls Hassan and by doing so he is framing Slavik and in reality he controls the NOD... also look how GDI operates by protecting only wealthy (blue zones) while ignoring or discarding everyone else. So, is NOD truly evil, or in another approach, are undemocratic or authoritarian governments truly evil?

Nice job dude👍cool gameplay. I sad that gdi weak than nod because of very strong artillery and banshee. Balance in Tiberium wars is much better and honest. Wait Tiberium wars skirmish battles and Red alert 3, if u want to play it

It is true that Nod have artillery and fast fighter jets - bunshees, but GDI have Bombers and Titans that are very strong units

Also dumb question maybe but why are there two Kanes? There's the Kane we see here and at the end we see another Kane wearing a mask covering half his face. If I remember right the "two" Kanes appear in TW as well on separate occasions. Any relation to the "clones" at the end of the Firestorm campaign?
