I've booked this during last visit exactly after a year of this video. Management has been changed and things have dramatically improved. Clean rooms, fast service and very nice breakfast.

Doctor sahb I fail to agree with you on comparison between the views of Tibet Hotel and Shangri-la resort. I have stayed in the Shangri-la resort for 2 days. The cottages are surrounded by lush greenery with fruits trees and flowers around the cottages, the dining area and the views while having breakfast is amazing, the walk after the dinner was fantastic with mesmerising views. Overall skardu is beautiful with very friendly people. I have around the northern area, but Hunza and skardu is a must visit, planning to visit Hunza and skardu in August 2024, this time sarena hotel in shigar and grape garden in Hunza, in sha Allah

You might be right. Maybe the weather and atmosphere was such that I had a different experience. This is the wonderful part about travel we get to listen to so many different stories. I’ll definitely try staying here next time I’m here. Thank you for your detailed review :)

I just came back from skardu Shangrila 10 days before , we took hut in shangrila resort and the experience was awesome , I heard about that Tibet hotel too , now after seeing this video, I am thanking God that we choose hut … the hut was clean , service was awesome , breakfast buffet was awesome , boating was free , the lake was just to your door step and the scene of swimming fishes was awesome , there were trees full of apples 🍏 every lawn of hut , the zoo and the duck 🦆 pond was just behind your hut ….so overall the huts were amazing place to live ….if you can afford ..just go for it …and enjoy the life time experience.

The prices vary season to season. I don't remember how much we paid in total as we took a package deal including other hotels and tour, but I would say it would be around 20-25k. 9:01
