Reading the book I can hear Dr Thurman speaking to me. Lively, humorous and erudite. And perhaps more importantly, it's encouraging and comforting. It's like a big hug from this wonderful genla. And we have these videos here for backup! Thank you Dr Thurman and the THUS team.

"Buddha wasn't teaching Buddhists." Great point! Plus he was not himself "a Buddhist." He was just "awake," he said. Jesus wasn't a Christian. He was Jewish. Paul & Peter & John were Jewish. (Which shows Nick Fuentes revels in illogic, which is maybe necessary in hate groups.) Martin Luther wasn't a Lutheran, & Henry 8 wasn't Anglican. They were Catholics. We humans love our categories, completely missing the heart of things.

Got it, to some degree, so amazingly read, I'm often told 'why are you giggling ' I am 'feeling'as if will told off {actually was at a recent vipassana retreat) actually it's shaken me..Ommm I love to sit (;meditate) yet seem surrounded by interruption.. hurt and giggly Thank you Any idea where to sit with joy.
