I think this song is one of the rare instances in movies that the dialogue actually improved the song. The way the song starts speeding up as their argument started heating up was perfect. And then in the end when it slows and speeds up as we think the argument is over

What I love about this performance is that it perfectly encapsulates the passive-aggressiveness that takes place in relationship arguments. You can see in Vanessa Hudgens face and movements that it's been driving her up a wall and every remark is both genuine and sarcastic

i LOVE how, around the 2:30 mark, you can actually see the pain in andrew’s expression for just a moment as jon remembers the moment/argument that inspired him to write this song - but then it fades as he forces himself to keep going through the performance and not let it affect him. BEAUTIFUL acting right there!!!

I LOVE this song. Definitely my favorite. I love the way they decided to perform it with this like robotic-esc dynamic. The very beginning is my favorite with the acapella and one or two chords from the guitar, it reminded me a lot of Steam-powered Giraffe which gave me so much nostalgia 💗

The emotions conveyed through out this movie, the singing, the story, everything about this movie is incredible. I can’t believe how this movie made me feel. It was indescribable. This is an astounding film, the emotions I felt, it was a rollercoaster, so many twists and turns, I was longing for more. But alas, it had to come to an end, an ending that made tears roll down my cheeks.
