That interview was really interesting. Always thought you had a trade background of some sort, because of your hand skills when you're on the tools. It's awesome that you've got a spread of things that are bringing in the coin, and are fulfilling to do. Mattsy was spot-on about your authenticity, so many channels just become game show versions of themselves.

Long time fan of the channel (I believe I've watched every video)...mate, loved the interview - my only wish was for old mate to ask a question or two of the literal 1000 questions I'd love to ask you! But if I could ask just a couple....I know you're often way out in the sticks, but sometimes there has to be other folks around. How on Earth do you make it seem like you're the only bloke out there in the world? Only very occasionally does any other human life feature in your videos. If it were me turning up to a bush camp, there would be 10 other groups there! And second, my favourite videos are when you're out west by a river, or at an alpine lake. Do you have to get permission to enter private property, or are you generally accessing places that the public can get to?

Hey Chris. It was quite strange to hear the voice behind the man that I’ve been watching for a few years now. It was really interesting to hear your back story, what you do with yourself when you’re not filming (or editing) and where you want to take the channel. Thanks for sharing.
