Im chinese and I can tell you that what fu yaning said was probably staged for drama in the show, but she actually said " we can do really well, and maybe even surpass the original. She didnt say she was better. Also she said it to help her teammates gain confidence. And also her expressions were because she didnt know what the mentor was saying as the c and j group trainees didnt get translators

There was evil editing for some girls and especially Fu Yaning she attended a Chinese survival and all the trainees said that she has a really good personality. The things she said in the first episode were slightly evil editing just to cause drama so

I’m Chinese and I believe that there was a mistranslation at fu yaning. She said “maybe even surpass the original”, not necessarily saying they are better than the original. and in mafia in the morning performance you could really see how dorky she actually is lol

for yaning, there was a lot of evil editing so i believe mnet doesnt want people to vote for her. she didnt say she would do better than the original, she said that they could show a different type of charm (i speak chinese). she also didnt say “we go up but you dont” she said “and we make hella noise for the take off but you dont” which is much less rude though still a bit iffy. however many c group members that have been eliminated have said how she’s a very kind person and has made them feel comfortable. not only that but she has a seemingly good relationship with yujin because they were seen window shopping together. i think the way she’s portrayed in youth with you 2 is her true personality. tbh i dont trust mnet at all in portraying people.

I would say Fu yaning is an S in talent. She can sing, dance and rap. And I really think Mnet was going too far. Like why did they really zoom in to her eyes? Sometimes when I don’t understand a question someone is asking me, I also make a face. I also heard from someone saying Mnet chose the audition songs and what she said during the audition was “mistranslated” (the part when she said “they could do better than the original. I think the translation was “I think we can show another side that only we can do” or smt) And about being the leader thing… I saw a comment saying that it is normal for the older chinese trainees to be the leader because they feel like they have to take care of the others. It reminds me of being a big sister to your siblings. I don’t see any wrongdoing in that. And further on the episodes, especially on the mafia mission, she wanted Mashiro to be the leader because she thought she was a better fit :) And about her saying Shana didn’t look like an all-rounder. I can see why she thought that. Sometimes people assume others abilities by their appearance. I think Shana didn’t give a strong first impression because of her “cute appearance” as Fu Yaning mentioned. Take me as an example. My teachers assumed I was “weak” because of my really small appearance, but once I performed (P.E especially), they suddenly changed their opinion. Not trynna protect Fu yaning or anything, but I see a lot of evil editing.

momoko was a part of babymetal and she’s the whole reason i tuned in to this show, but she really truly is such a great dancer. seeing her in official recordings and during live performances her presence is really incredible. plus she’s so much fun on sakura gakuin so lol idk i just love her, so sad that she got eliminated so early.

8:46, No one ever mentions that girls adlibs. The Dolphin demo stage and the Hmph demo stage are the only stages where I go back even though they weren't the best. Ho Sze Ching adlibs are so cute and I really like her voice but she needs more training.
