I have games like this in my PZ4H quit often. With the HE rework i have had to shoot gold more to make the gun work.

I got the M4A1 5 years ago, (2017), & loved to DERP with it. When they changed the High Explosive shells to Non Explosive shells when hitting another tank, (only explode when hitting the dirt). I played 6 games, & switched to the other gun. HE is "Hit or Miss" now, (dredging up an old saying from my childhood). HE is now a "Hassels In My Mind" --- The Corporation, "Don't Let Me Down" --- The Beatles, "You Can't Always Get What You Want --- The Rolling Stones.

instance of cut throat game "you need to do spotting assist damage" you go spot. the tanks behind you "Covering you" are doing missions where they need to kill heavy tanks. you spot some mediums and a lite tank.. your back up doesnt shoot untill you spot the heavy tank but the lite tanks now spotted you and the mediums shooting at you but your BACK up is trying to damage a heavy tank thats no threat to you because.. mission reasons.

The worst part of the derp gun is at longer ranges. The shell travels slowly so you have to extend your lead over a moving target. It also has a long load time and can get you killed if you're rushed by light tanks or turret equipped tds. I love this gun though and learned to use it pretty well.

Used to be my favorite tank in the whole game, and then the HE nerfs ruined it. It’s still fun, but much less than it was.

This has always been my favourite tank in the game since I started playing over 10 years ago! I'm glad to see Skill making a video with it where he makes it work.

I haven't seen you get so excited over a tier 10 game.

My most-played tank @ 3.5K battles, mostly with the 76mm tho. Initially, I used the 105 and got 2nd mark, but thought that seemed too easy. I think it was much better for my overall gameplay to use the regular gun, and have reached 98.7% but consistency lets me down every time and I can't reach 100 :( The tank's quite mobile but I do find the armour a little unreliable. My new favourite is the P.43 - while not as agile, the armour is so much bouncier.

THAT carry on the 3rd game was a SOLID banana out of 10!

This is the tank that I learned the muscle memory required to play WoT, my most used tank, now it's stripped and gathering dust in the garage, HE nerf took the fun out of this tank for me. Cheers!

i am kind of ashamed to admit but i have roundabout 2,5k games in this vehicle. it used to have near max view range out of the box, an almost impenetrable turret and the HE of course was much better before "rework" but it still is fun in almost every single match you play in it. from one dirty seal clubber to another: you should load more HEAT, skill :3

nice one Skill. I don't like the derp guns when i am on teh receiving end too. :-) I never used one of the derps, not on Sherman, Pz.IVH, Stug,... I think they lost much of their power against higher tiers in last summer with HE-nerf. I prefer penetration guns. Btw. Please make video on Skoda T 40

If I'm playing tier 5 for damage I use my BDR G1 B. It has 240 alpha and 135mm of penetration, with a decent amount of armor because it's a heavy tank. I have lots of 2,000 plus games in my BDR and I'm not a unicum like Skill or even close to it.

My Son and RL friend liked to platoon in our derp Shermans and have over 5000 battles in it. It's been ruined. They don't play any more. Totally useless in tier 7 battle, even HEAT can't pen.

This and the PzIVH are my favorite derps. HE nerfs suck.

M4A1 is one of the most frustrating tanks in the game to play. It got nerfed because WG had nothing better to do that day, and players lost so many credits playing it the tank stopped showing up in games.

I see 2 derp guns. One on the tank and the other sitting on the chair.

your trying to do a spotting mission, but the guys around you are trying to finish get Xnumber of kills missions.. you spot some full health enemies and a low health high armored tank hulldown.. team mates being tripping over them self to try and kill the hard target hiding behind the rock while the full health enemies are still moving towards your spotting location and its too late your spotted.. get killed the full health units go invisable again.. as does the still alive low health hull down target.. every one loses.. lol

Remember when this tank had 150mm penetration HEAT? It was so broken lol

For that last game I have you a banana/10. If only my games with derp guns would look like this but you have to get close which means you either need armor or a someone not expecting you to or someone else to take the shot for you which kinda rarely happens. Sadly most times you either miss, or hit something you can't pen. Day 38 of asking for a video with the Jagdpanzer IV.

Because i'm listening music that the skill4tu is singing... 😊 P.S. as i'm not good enough player well most of my stats are only better than 85-95% of players... I'm still getting that good rng with really derpy guns. I loved to play with derp gun on this MT... But only for fun... If i will mark it in the future i will use the 75mm gun. 😜 (let's just hope i will still be a simple guy by then ---> not a streamer) and nobody will make me a challenge to mark it with derp gun. 🤪

Hey Skill, as a Finnish person i must ask why do i feel like half of your tanks have Finnish flags on them?

I three marked M4 with the 76mm gun as the 105mm is useless vs tier 7's IMO.

I prefer M4A1 Sherman equipped the 76w mm gun the post penetration is good, Gun accuracy awesome to respond against enemy tank.

gotta bash the new players up if no one does. when they get to teir 6 they are just gonna quit becaus it appears the games difficulty goes from "mildly frustratingly hard to impossible give up every rounds a complete dice roll.. .. its better to set the cold harsh truth in on them early if they cant hack it at teir 2,3,4,5 they have no business progressing past that teir the game only gets more cut throat and insulting as a form of entertainment to hopeful Casuals. iv played wot in na since beta. i play nearly daily but as entertainment world of tanks best part is playing with a Few people and the Ai Bots at teir 5 and under. teir 6 and up is just so mercelessly cut throat complete with punishments as it becomes easier and easier to blow rounds with -20k credit deficit.

I was just saying last night that this tank is one of my all time favourites. It's got more alpha than an NFL teams Jock strap laundry bin. And it rarely misses at range even though it should!
