I agree with what you said about Uematsu intending them to be played in classical style. I received oodles and gobs of Final Fantasy music for Christmas, as well as some Zelda too! I'm looking forward to getting back at it :)

And not to mention, she's playing on a beautiful Steinway and Sons grand piano. Not everyone has the opportunity to even play a Steinway or even have one in their own homes. Of course, you can be a professional pianist and still sound great on a mediocre piano but a nice piano will make the pieces you play sound even better. Great playing nonetheless! :)

Keep playing every day! A musician is someone who makes music every day, and you'll no doubt get better and better. Play lots of music, don't stick with one piece. Get a book of easy pieces and play all of them in a day. That's the best way to develop skill, musicality and appreciation :)

Are you playing FF musics because you like the game or you just like the soundtracks ? :) My only dream is that you play some chrono chross soundtrack or old rpg like you did with chrono trigger or zelda, i know for sure when i saw you play some chopin that your talent are infinite, can"t wait for the next one

I like the sound tracks, but I also love the games although I haven't played most of them. I completed IX, but Final Fantasy 1 was my first! I'm currently an avid XIV player, and I'm almost finished with XV! But my first reason for posting these was because I love the music. I played Chrono Cross and Zelda (Loved both those games!), and have some nice arrangements of Chrono Cross music I'd like to get out here. It's a well known one, and it's always better to start with a strong punch of you have the chance 😁 While at this, have you ever tried some arrangement of Shiro Sagisu's "Going home"? It's for guitar but I guess it'd sound great on piano. It has a somehow similar feel to this tune.
