Welcome to The Rich Rabbit, today we are going to talk about one of the biggest names, in fact the biggest name when it comes to luxury jewelry, Tiffany & Co.
Arguably the world’s most iconic jewelry brand, the history of Tiffany dates back to 1837 when 25-year-old Charles Lewis Tiffany and his friend John B Young opened a small stationery and fancy goods store in New York City with the help of a $1,000 contribution from Charles’ father.
The young entrepreneurs were inspired by the natural world, which they interpreted in patterns of simplicity, harmony and clarity.
By 1870 Tiffany & Co. had become the America's premier silversmith and purveyor of jewels and timepieces.
At the turn of the 20th century the company had more than one thousand employees and branches in London, Paris, and Geneva.
With the passing of Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1902, Louis Comfort Tiffany, the founder’s son, became Tiffany’s first art director. The younger Tiffany was a world leader in the Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts movements.
The famed artist created a remarkable range of designs, from technically brilliant leaded glass to colorful enameled and painterly jewels based on American plants and flowers.
Throughout Tiffany’s history, the U.S. Government has called upon the company to create commemorative designs.
Among them are ceremonial swords for Civil War generals; the Congressional Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military award; and the 1885 redesign of the Great Seal of the United States, which appears on the one-dollar bill.
Business and professional organizations have also commissioned Tiffany to create custom designs.
The most well-known is the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the National Football League Super Bowl® Championship.
Throughout the jeweler’s history, the most prominent members of American society were Tiffany customers.
In 2012 Tiffany marked its 175th anniversary.
Today, Tiffany has more than 300 stores and employs 12,200 people across the world. Since 2013, Francesca Amfitheatrof has been at the creative helm and, as the first female design director, she is credited with taking Tiffany in a fresh new direction while still retaining the essence of the iconic brand.

A few facts that need correcting in your video. 1. The opening image isn't of a Tiffany store or Tiffany & Co. jewelry. 2. You / the narrator repeatedly and erroneously refer to the company as "Tiffany and Co". When have you ever heard anyone from the company refer to it as such? They always either say "Tiffany and Company", "Tiffany" or "Tiffany's". Never "Tiffany and CO". 3. The man in the split screen image you claim is Charles Lewis Tiffany is actually Louis Comfort Tiffany, Charles Tiffany's son. Then the man you claim is John Young is actually Charles Tiffany. The narration leads the viewer to believe incorrectly. 4. While the company was started with $1000, it wasn't all from CLT's father as you claim. It was $500 from CLT's Father and $500 from JBY's Father. 5. Your pronunciation of George F. Kunz is incorrect. It's not pronounced like the C word. It's "Koo-nz" as in "tunes". 6. The first wedding band or the engagement ring images you show when you talk about Tiffany's product offerings in this category, are not from Tiffany. Additionally, your pronunciation of bezel is incorrect. It's not bezel as in Gazelle, but phonetically "Beh-zl". If you're still perplexed Google has an audio clip. Other than that, well done.

This was one of our earlier videos on the channel and have improved our managerial process to catch things that are inaccurate.
