This was filmed in 1988 during her show at Walt Disney World for one of the Grad Nights they used to have for thousands of recent H.S. grads. You might recognize that it's in front of Cinderella's Castle. I was working as a cast member on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom at the time and I was near the front of the stage (hub area) for all five or six takes they did of this song!! I can still hear it now, "One more time..." Also performing around the Magic Kingdom that night was Expose, Run DMC, and Ray Parker Jr. (Ghostbusters). Good times.

Beatles songs, like those of another British group at their peak at the same time, the Kinks, have a lot of good cover versions because while the Beatles (and the Kinks) could be outstanding song writers they were merely good performers. Hence quite often a cover version by an inspired performer will be as good, often in a different way, if not better than the original. See e.g. Bryan Ferry's version of John Lennon's Jealous Guy or the collection of Beatles covers by various artists including Helen Reddy, the BeeGees, Rod Stewart and many others in the soundtrack album to the bizarre but amazing film 'All This and World War II'.

Every second of this video SCREAMS 1988. The fact she (or most likely management) chose this song for her to cover, the complete 80's arrangement of it, the fashion (her, the crowd, the touring session musicians with mullets and moustaches) the totally 80's dance moves.. personifies the older sister 80's culture I experienced firsthand. Maybe it's why I worshiped the 90's alternative scene so much

Back when I was a mere mortal in 1987, my father had to inform me that this was a Beatles song while I was repeatedly playing it on my Soundesign stereo system off a cassette that I recorded off the radio.

Oh Tiffany Just last month, Meeting you , singing songs like Could've Been, I think We're Alone Now and I Saw HIM Standing There just inches from you and telling YOU you out fabbed the Fabs saying girl YOU Nailed it out fabbed the fabs on their own turf, and bowed to you ! that was a first for me but YOU deserved that bow more than any other artist, that ever did a FAB cover!, and tommy james too these songs were meant for a girl to sing to a boy! I remember saying that to you too! I appreciated the hug , and was so honored to have you come around to hug me, that was one of the most special moments of my life!, that really surprised me and honored me. And the talk we had about future endeavors, you are such a wonderful person , a wonderful artist and I love you girl You so rock and rock on! Your oic covers are framed over my juke box and your 45s from them are about the first twelve. I only brought three 45s with me but I have so many and they are all in the jukebox an 80s. The autographs on the covers are so fantastic Big hug back! I kick myself that I didn't get an autograph of Could've been but got it for my friend Scott. Arghhh Such a beautiful song, but they all are! Wish you all could have been on stage longer, but it was THE MOST FANTASTIC CONCERT I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO I used to do back stage for the major acts for 35 years, until 2013, but none of them outmatched the line up Oct 6th. I was in that front row, up there with you and remember me saying, I think there are only about 4 of us right her who know the words to the Beatles and tommy James. You and three of us old guys over 50 right up almost on stage.! LOL But those kids up front were groovin to the oldies and to your originals as much as me and those tow real old guys therer LOL At least 55. God bless Rock ON! girl!!!

Explosive, wonderful version of a Beatles song, that respects the original but is not afraid to add its own inspiration. I must have somehow missed Tiffany at the time as I had not even heard of her, but heard her version of another 60s song on the radio recently 'I think we're alone now' and it has made me want to find out more about her. I am glad I found this.
