You can recreate the shot the Soviets had experimented with 88mm Kwk43. They fired that thing at the lower frontal hull of the IS-3 at a distance of 700 metres and stated “penetration”

@@user-fe7bo5mm1onot always in WT if you shoot from a higher position, only a few degrees are needed. and in real life it would go through, not destroying the tank, but enough to traumatize the driver.

Doesn't have 99% of shells have parabolic flight curves due to Newtons gravity? (Except from very point blanc distances) So cosequently theese shells shall come from a certain angle from above and front, isn't it?

Can you do IS-2 122mm vs Tiger 1 front Turret? From what i've seen it has 100-200 mm of armor. It would be interesting to see.

Pretty sure it was just a "tiger", and the only source for it was a civilian who claimed to have seen it happen. Its much more likely it was a misidentification of a Panzer IV than that an M8 was able to go through the rear armor of Tiger, which is 80mm thick and sloped.

Whole plate replacement, once hit it's compromised and cannot be repaired Probably they melt the damaged ones to recast
