On a recent visit to Pench National Park, we stayed in the fabulous Wooden Machan Room at Tiger N Woods Resort, near Turia Gate, Pench.
Come with me, as I give you a detailed room tour of the Wooden Machan room at Tiger N Woods Resort, Pench. The Wooden Machan rooms are luxurious with all modern amenities like Air Conditioning, En-suite Bathrooms, Running Hot and Cold Water. The Wooden Machan Room has a huge King Size Bed that can sleep two adults and a child. There is also another single bed in the room that can sleep one adult or one child. So, the Wooden Machan Rooms at Tiger N Woods Pench are perfect for a family of four.
The rooms are built on stilts, and made entirely of wood and brick. The attached bathroom is quite big for a machan, and has a WC, a basin, hot and cold shower mixer. But the best part of the bathroom is the gorgeous view of the jungle! The resort provides towels, soap and shampoo complimentary during your stay.
The highlight of the Wooden Machan Room at Tiger N Woods resort, is the huge wooden deck sit-out attached to the bedroom. Tiger N Woods Resort is right at the boundary of Pench National Park. The room sit-out faces the forest of Pench National Park, and you can hear animal calls at night, and also sight spotted deer and other animals if you are lucky!
There is no electric kettle or tea station in the room, but you can order tea, coffee and snacks with room service. Service is quick. There is no intercom telephone in the room, and a mobile number is provided to call room service. You have to use your own mobile to call the number.
Another unique point of the Wooden Machan Room is the Wood Fired, Hot Water Boiler that is fitted behind the machan. The boiler supplies running hot water in the bathroom, and it is a sight to watch the staff fire up the boiler every morning with firewood and fuel!
