man, I thought the wii motion plus would make a great control scheme for smashing the back of tigers escalade with a golf club

I got this game, with Motion Plus, it is a lot harder than it looks. The Motion Plus is extremely accurate with all the wrist twisting. I still haven't gotten used to it yet :D but its mighty fun

You there's more numbers between 0 and 10 than just 8, 9, and 10 right? We should use them in reviews maybe. Either that or switch to a 5 point system.

I played '04 and '05 on the Xbox and got my PS3 2 or 3 years ago. We got Tiger 2011 the year after it came out and my dad and I kind of liked it. I mean it looked great and everything but we missed the caddy tips, the b-b-b-bump sound meaning it was gonna go in almost every time, and most of all not having to pay seven bucks for every good course you wanted. We then got 2013 and it made '11 feel like '04! The set-up was totally different and the courses we bought didn't transfer over from '11.

@juhwann I think the new golf season starts soon, and it ends next year so it's the 2011 season. The same way that the 2011 NFL season starts in September 2010

During the video he said the graphics were good but at the end he said they were "sub-par visuals"

People that say the graphics suck, well they really don't. The Wii version isn't about graphics, its about the superior controls, to make it seem your playing like real golf. The graphics are great, but not the best, or the worst for that matter.

Theres a secret level where you ride around picking up as many woman while trying to not catch an STD and also not letting your wife find out. THIS MODE ROCKS!

there is no much point on complaining about graphics in a Wii game, but I still think it could have looked better (doesn't need to be in HD to look good; Mario Galaxy is a good example). The golf course are ok, but the models are way too pixelated to me... I think this game would be awesome on PS3 with Move (when released)

@Klingonmastr I understand that, yes. But everyone says "I'm not getting a Wii, the graphics are awful." The Wii does not have the best graphics of the 3rd gen consoles, of course. But its hardware CAN run good graphics, graphics which I think are almost as good as HD. But people have already decided the Wii is a failed console with no hardware, so no one bothers to and makes the multi-platform versions of games identical to the PS2 one.

@GuyofSpades because they're both golf games on the wii? That's like saying Backbreaker and Madden are similar because they're both football games on the 360. you said "looks JUST like wii sports golf" and it doesn't at all...

it is a great golf simulation! it is like 2020 technology. i play golf and use this to practice my swing and it helps. my coach looks at my formation while i have fun at the same time. if u play golf or just watch it in general, i recomend you buy this game. i have fun with it and i'm pretty sure a lot of other people will enjoy this.

@SixHundredHP it is quite obvious why I compare the games, as they have much in common, such as both costing $60 and both giving a certain amount of enjoyment. Also IGN thought they were comparable by giving TWPGAT11 a 9/10 and BFBC2 an 8.5/10. owned.

Actually the Nintendo Wii is made for TV's that are at least 480P so the graphics on this system aren't as good the Playstation 3 or XBOX 360. If you have a Playstation 3 for example its made for a High Definition TV. Now the Nintendo Wii isn't all that bad. It's got better graphics than a Playstation 2. The Nintendo Wii is an improved version of the Gamecube and has much better than graphics than the Gamecube has.

Doesn't look that bad for the Wii. I was specting Banjo-Kazooie-ish graphics.

@CrakrjakzGameplay The Wii doesn't have terrible graphics, look at Metroid 3: Corruption, or nearly any game that Nintendo make. It's just easier to not bother putting in the effort.

The courses are real, the graphics are better, the weather mechanics, and characters are hugely different. I'm not even a fan of wii, but saying this looks like wii sports golf is just foolish. oh and if you say "i was just kidding" you should know it wasn't funny.

I got this game for the wii. Good graphics...But most graphic juggernuts this game is not good enough. Gameplay > graphics (I own a 360) wii wins everytime.

Wii should have gotten it's shit together with the graphics card because it is very fun to play. Xbox and PS3 are so much prettier.

There's far more detail in Tiger Woods as far as the courses go and what's on them. The whole game is dedicated to assets in the courses, where as Wii Sports Resort has to share it's assets with other mini games. Please stop because you're just wrong and look foolish.
