What would have happened if Tiger and Rocco disputed the 2008 US Open at Torrey Pines in a 18-hole Match-Play. Who would have won? Fictional match between Tiger Woods and Rocco Mediate in the playoff of the US Open.
With the win, Woods kept his unbeaten streak alive when he has at least a share of the lead heading into the final round of a major championship (14−0). The streak ended at the PGA Championship in 2009.

I tell dudes all the time the best of the best is unattainable. Rocco is the %1 of the 1%. And he isn’t good enough. The level of play here is ridiculous. That said i could beat Rocco

Purely hypothetical. So when has a stroke play tournament ever been decided by a match-play play-off ?

Not here. This was a stroke play playoff, not match play.

This isn’t the full playoff. The actual playoff was a 1vs1 stroke play format that required an extra hole (19th) because both players shot 71 on the 5th day. Essentially, they were tied through the first 72 holes ahead of the rest of the field, then tied again on the 18 hole playoff, then needed an additional sudden death hole to determine a winner. Tiger pared the 91st hole and Rocco bogied, so Tiger won. Simple google search will back up what I’m saying. Nice video though

I love that when you watch the British Open, All of the people that say the stupid stuff like GET IN THE HOLE, really loud get called idiots and morons by the announcers.. They could not be more accurate

Why would they make them play another 18 holes? It's a 72 hole game not 90.

Steve put on a great show pretending he was Tigers friend. When the world found out Tiger was a human being when the story of Tigers infidelity broke, the caddie judged Tiger and told Most all his personal business. Never was Tigers friend.

Rocco, another guy who won't promote juniors or do anything that won't help himself. So hard for me as a parent to tell them how good he was (and from Greensburg) Arnold would have not been proud of him for that at all.
