LSU head women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey had one of her all time greatest postgame press conferences after her Tigers beat Arkansas 79-76 to remain undefeated. Angel Reese and Flau-jae Johnson also appear.

They are beautiful young women. I enjoy watching them play very much. I told my wife that they play as a team. That’s about the highest compliment I can give them. I can’t wait till they face up with South Carolina, but as Coach Kim says you have to play one game at a time. Geaux Tigers!

the coach respects the game, therefore she respects the players, understands all college aged players are learning, make mistakes, but concentrates on their assests. she knows her reputation as a coach is dependent on the good talent of her players. players make a coach look good. once the Bagget sisters left McNeese both the coach and the program took a turn for the worse. this coach unerstands her skills and her limitations. players see that respect.

@@jrod9729 Remember this With eight games remaining in the regular season, LSU has yet to face a ranked opponent. Per the NET rankings, four of the Tigers' 20 wins came against the most challenging Quadrant 1 and their strength of schedule falls outside the top 100 in Division I. By comparison, South Carolina has faced three ranked opponents in nonconference play with another, No. 5 UConn, scheduled for Feb. 5. The Gamecocks have seven NET Quadrant 1 wins and rank No. 28 in strength of schedule. Lady Tigers strength of schedule rank is 120th. The numbers don’t lie. At least 16 of those 20 games were against non quadrant one teams. Like I said they are not going to take that weak schedule to the Lady Gamecocks arena and win. They haven’t faced a team as strong as the Lady Gamecocks. Mulkey knows this but she is hoping she can physche her team into believing it can be done…..Hit me up after the game

@@imafriend6277 Alabamas strength of schedule is ranked number 7 in division 1. LSU’s is ranked 118th. That means that 16 of LSU’s wins came against teams that couldn’t beat a top ten high school basketball team. Hit me up after the game on Feb 12th

Okay. Arkansas has played them already and now they played again. Credit Arkansas for their scouting and defensive game play. This game wasn’t pretty but it was a win. Everyone has said LSU hasn’t been tested but they were and came out on top.

Great Coach, but has a cocky and arrogant attitude. She doesn’t need to correct a reporter (Jacques Doucet) about the use of the word war. War is used consistently in sports, by coaches for motivation, to explain a game for people watching and listening etc. I think the reporter knows what a war is, where two groups of people are going at one another, just like this game occurred.
