As a design engineer myself, I love how Tigercat keeps a quite square and rough classical design of their machines. Suits very well for the rough conditions these machines operates in. No need for fancy 'wind tunnel' shapes and designs)

Wow! Looks like another winner. I really appreciate the detail you give about the service features and access. I think that doing daily maintenance has the potential to be the most dangerous part of a day for me as an operator because I'm climbing up and around on it. I really appreciate the details your engineers have included on the LX870D to make it as safe and easy as you can and can see that same attention to detail and thinking out of the box has gone into this shovel. Great job!

Tigercat all the way, we use 880's for loading trucks, awesome butt n tops, just take a bit of getting used to being no swing break

Poor Peter drew the shortest straw had to go out there in the snow and made sure he talked slow without moving I can hear the I wana go inside in his voice lol

Great product as usual as is all tigercat branded equipment...BUT once again ALOT slower in the swing speed department compared to its competitors 🤦‍♂️ I guess one day you guys will figure out that alot of operators would rather have swing speed instead of a rear door through the counter weight great feature BUT I don't think that will help load trucks any faster..im hoping yall figure that out in all of the swing machines..

All functions can be set up at the valve bank. Just a little info. My 830 is wicked fast in the swing. Not sure why you figured that they are slow in the swing

@@Hennes003 sir I understand you can set it up to make it faster but there is a limit to what it can be set to...you look up all the swing specs to the competition especially in the loader department..they come from the factory swinging 11, 10, and 9.5 revolutions and in this specific division the deere and cat swing 12 revolutions compared to 8 which is what the tigercat does..I don't care how much you change, you can't make a 8 revolution machine swing 12..its a component issue not gone happen..we run a 234 loader so we have been down the road of tryin to get more swing speed out of it...now I'm sure in a track cutter 8 rpms is more then enough...but put it on a loader that has to make 275 to to 300 degree swing cycles all day then you will see our complaint..tigercat makes a great product...but deere and weiler will always be a faster machine..unless they decide to address the swing system on their products...if you don't believe me..ask anyone who runs a cat/weiler or deere they will tell you same thing

@@jaredbeasley6348 I call Bullshit. Boss was looking into buying a Cat loader and the swing power was way lower than the 875. Had one for years and nothing like it. We run 2 now. You can keep your JD crap and Cat shit and have fun. We stick with Tigercat and nothing but!!!!

Jared I beg to differ, personally don't now about this 865, but 880 swings faster than all others I've run, with no swing break , it just takes more to stop it once ya start, I know loading, or unloading trailers without swing break is a real pain! It's a drifter lol !!

@@Hennes003 nicely said dude, tcat way better than any cat, I've run lots JD , still better than cat as operator perspective, but can't beat tigercat!

Dear Tigercat, do you really think this video is an effective way to market your equipment? SHOW THE MACHINE WORKING! We don't care where the cab tilt cylinder is. We know we have to pay extra for the upgraded guarding on the boom cylinder. We want to see this machine run in the woods. We want to hear feedback from real operators with decades of experience. We want to see the machine moving wood! This video is a major snooze fest and your company is capable of a much better production

That is not the idea of a 'walk around' video, what did you expect. Tiger cat makes these so people can see what costs and maintenance will be like for these machines. Would you buy a machine just based off of footage in the woods? The production level is top notch this is just not the video you are looking for
