This was a tough backing in Montrose, CO! Trip across Utah in the Rollin Peterbilt 389. Was a surprise to find the tank was much smaller than anticipated haha.

Now Just imagine doing a double blind back just to get into the lot that is made for 45ft trailers attached to day cabs and you have a 53ft TRL and a T660 with studio sleeper and then you have to back around 3 trucks just to get to your dock that was a real test of Backing skills . I believe that back was in San Diego or maybe Yuma not sure as that was before ATS came out .

I bought snow runner for a relaxing game, it’s anything but. Then I figured I’d try farm sim, while satisfying not relaxing. Now I bought a wheel and everything and got ATS, and I can honestly say this game is actually relaxing haha

And I thought the Wallbert and Voltison Motors locations (Walmart and Tesla Motors respectively with a realistic company mod installed) were sometimes a bit of a tight squeeze with some of the longer single trailers or trailer combinations, and that’s even with a much shorter conventional truck like the base game Freightliner Cascadia, particularly with the longer 72 inch sleeper… 😐

As someone who travels from Provo to price I wish that canyon from Spanish fork to price was shorter😂 And the beehives are city buildings and they do have all the trucks there and stuff there is also offices in there too

I've been thinking about switching to PC just to be able to play American Truck Simulator. I'm currently on ps4. I'm thinking it's gonna cost roughly $2,500.00 to make the transition. The more of your videos I watch the more I'm pushed in the PC direction lol. Great video, thanks again 👍🤙

Good morning Jeff always these (ATS) video's definitely agree on some service station weight scales on game real small with inches of space for trailers . Did u check out Kansas NASCAR race on Sunday saw clip's Gragson & Chastain got into it also Hanlin past Larson for the win on final lap.

Question Jeff, when you launch ATS. What option did you choose to play it on? I get 3 options, play as is 1, #2 option is DirectX 11, and 3rd bein Open GL. I tested all 3 for my set up, and DX11 works best.

That pickup behavior is not from Sips...that's vanilla AI fecal matter, bud. I run into that at least once or twice a run. I usually give SCS a lot of credit but the AI isn't one of them. Some jank is fine given real drivers are the epitome of jank so you could almost chalk it up to accidental realism, but the kind of jank the AI throws around is just poor design sometimes. Also, Jeff, something I do from time to time if traffic turns to booty is go in graphics and double click on the v-sync option (to turn it off then on or on then off, which ever you keep it on). That makes ATS clear out and reset the traffic spawned on screen.
