Today we took a 2021 CanAm Maverick X3 Max XRS Turbo RR on a hell of a technical trail and it performed awesome! Cheers to Bay Marine for giving us the opportunity to test out a machine I could never afford! #maverick #turbo #x3

Hi im enjoying your videos! I own a can am maverick x3 turbo rr..4 door I am wanting to put 18 inch wheels and 37 inch muddying tires on it right now and it has the stock wheels and tires. Can you give me any advice as to what your thoughts are on these changes? Anything you recommend? Thank you so much I appreciate your help. I have heard big tires effects the performance. What do you suggest for max performance

You guys riding north of Belleville? Heard trail cops are pulling over 72" machines. Madoc-Bancroft area.

That ride was in Hastings county, didn’t run into any cops though

Don’t they have 172hp and 195hp on the 2021 X3’s? If so, how can I tell? I’m looking to purchase one from a third party site.

They have different ones yes. One says “turbo rr” the other doesn’t

How's the cab sound? I've heard it's loud but it doesn't seem too bad in this video.

turn those shocks up for ground clearance
@shawndejong66993 жыл бұрын
and an absolutely trash ride... May want to do some reading on shocks and how they work dude.
@welewisiii3 жыл бұрын
Shawn Dejong dude they aren’t adjusted to factory specs. it’s riding like shit and has no ground clearance the factory springs will need to be adjusted often to maintain the factory ride height. over the tine the ride will get worse. factory springs are trash. secondary springs only purpose is to collapse so your machine can pass govt rollover tests
@shawndejong66993 жыл бұрын
@@welewisiii So adding in a pile of pre-load is going to help in rocky and rutted terrain how? Ground clearance isn't the be all to end all.
@welewisiii3 жыл бұрын
Shawn Dejong first off i have an x3 max. and have experienced this all personally many x3 come from the dealer not properly adjusted even when properly adjusted by the dealer they loose ride height and preload almost every ride it felt like -after the first few months. even after adjusting them back to stock settings. the stock spring are trash- the upper spring is designed to collapse to reduce body roll for government rollover testing. so they do nothing as far as having dual rate springs. an eibach or shock therapy spring replacement will provide the proper ride height and also a better ride quality than stock. in a four seater machine especially . ground clearance is everything while riding in steep, rocky rutted terrain- i do most of my riding in west Virginia new springs are best thing i’ve done to x3 changes everything for the better smoother at low speed in rough stuff and eats obstacles at higher speed x3 spring issues are pretty well documented on the inter webs

You should learn how to use low range and pick a line
@CommanderOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
I drive in low literally the entire time on trails like this. Also picking a line is easy when you’re familiar with the machine, this was the only time I got to take this rig out and it’s significantly longer than my own machine.
