Im so happy that my mother was one of the first teachers of Tigran. He studied composition in her class in Yerevan, her name was Anahit Kostanyan. She passed away this year, so now when I hear Tigranes music i got so exited when I see the shade of folclore music that my mother put first in every lesson for her students. You are so talented, thank you for your music🙏🏼

Tigran, sé que me contaste que la historia del título de esta canción vino de tu infancia. Tu abuelo, o tu padre, no recuerdo exactamente,te dijeron una vez que creyeras. Creía en mí mismo, en lo mejor, en lo alto. a Dios. Años más tarde, te convertiste en un gran músico, influyendo en géneros enteros y en una nueva generación de personas en todo el mundo. Soy un niño de Spurk, nacido fuera de Armenia armenia, pero gracias a su música, Armenia nació en mí. Tigran.... As an old musician that actually been doing this for a living, I must say there are no other one touching me like you do. your combination of Armenian folksongs, tradition, incorporating jazz harmonics is more or less out of this world.... Mainly cause of you being a stellar musician and prolly human beeing as well... No asshole could compose this... ;)

@@amjan Might as well check out his pianists (Elchin Shirinov) solo music, it's absolutely incredible as well. Saw them together twice already and both times, my jaw dropped to the floor. Insanely good musicians!

There is an expression in Armenian հոգին տակն ու վրա անել ֊֊ to turn one's soul upside down. That's what he does to me. I feel connected with all of my ancestors. I feel the oneness of all, my roots and him as the instigator.

One evening i was ambling alongside the coast and listening to this great piece and there were birds chirping and singing around me , in the distance above the sea i could watch a disappearing rainbow , on the other side ,an amazing sunset whose last rays have colored the clouds in a fiery red and orange color. Music, birds, rainbow, clouds, warm breeze, smell of rain in the distance, colors, that mix of emotions was quite unique. One of the best moments in a long time ❤ thank you 🙏🏻

Like pretty much all of Mr. Hamasyan's work (and certainly all that I've heard!), this is a masterpiece. The sensitivity, creativity and attention to detail are second to none. Can't wait to see him in the flesh in Hamburg later this month!
