This is so foul. My ex cheated on me as well. When I needed to see if he was remarried for social security reasons, I saw that they had been married. The funniest thing is that she appears to be a pastor or something. As a Christian, I had to laugh because the Good Book states that deceitful clergy "Will be beaten with many stripes." I could have sued as well, buy why? If a person wants to leave, let them leave. I'm moving on, mentally, in 0.5 seconds. I feel that when the two cheaters end up together, they now have eternity to sit around wondering when the other cheater is going to cheat. How is that not hilarious. lol

This is awful and it’s morally wrong. NC is one of the few states you can sue for Alienation of Affection but I don’t feel that people should be able to. The person your spouse is sleeping with is not responsible for protecting the sanctity of your marriage. Your spouse has full control over their own behavior. They are the only one that should be held accountable. This is a domestic/moral issue, not one they should be seen in court. Tim isn’t even getting that much criticism and he’s the one who made the choice to abandon his family for someone else.

I mostly agree with your comment. However, it is important to remember that some individuals may intentionally engage in seductive or manipulative behavior. In such cases, it is ultimately the responsibility of the spouse to resist these advances and establish appropriate boundaries.

Yes indeed, I remember the Fantasia story because when it came out from the wife suing her, it drove her into a bad depression smh. Now let me say it was her son's father not her current husband! Just one of the reasons I love living in North Carolina we have said law that says that we can sue said homewrecker and the spouse that decided to defile the marital bed hence the saying it's cheaper to keep her!
