I always look at these types of videos because I used to use hot tools all the time. I've been going natural for 3 months now. Its a struggle with all the heat damage.

Gworl there is no need for all of that jealousy its not all the fun and easiness ur thinking it is especially a struggle when u have very thick hair like mine I have 3b/3c hair and its hard to manage granite it does LOOK good but it takes abt an hour 1/2 to do it

You're lucky you dont have curly hair, do you know how much time and effort you have to put to actually make it look good? And the fact that i have to take care of it everyday is just killing me. 💀 I know it looks beautiful and gorgeous but still, wish i had straight hair.

Some hair is just like that no matter what :( Here are some tips that really improved my hair Use a tshirt and not a towel Rise upside down in cold water I got a haircut Section my hair I got a deman brush Let my hair air dry Don’t play with your hair too much, that causes frizz and when you style your hair make sure it’s still wet/damp not dry I hope this helped ♥️

@@kneecaps2206 thanks a lot for tips. I also started using silk cap for sleeping. Deman brush is expensive. I use wide tooth comb. Should I stop using diffuser?

Start with curly hair shampoo and conditioner, try a leave in conditioner and a curly creme or something similar

When it comes to styling products it depends on what you want to achieve. A mousse will usually add more volume while a gel would give hold and definition. A curly cream would add definition and moisture but wouldn't hold as good as a gel.

For me, I started with the basics (and I'm still learning lol). If u feel u wanna aim for definition buy a gel, or if you want volume go for a mousse (which can also dry hair out). I actually use both though. A Denman brush also helped a lot for wet styling but there are other brushes that actually do the same thing. After these products it can lead to you getting an oil or serum to scrunch it out, maybe with a cotton T-shirt or a special type of towel. It sounds like a lot but you always start from somewhere lol, I also diffuse my hair it helped a lot for my stubborn hair. After this you can buy other things like a curl cream (some can weigh hair down tho) and even different shampoo/conditioners. So don't worry because too much product isn't actually that good to use, so just try products u feel you need

@Jimin's Pinky When I brought one I just went to a local shop and checked the hair product section. There was loads of brushes and I found it there :) If you haven't, try that

same, my roots are flat and no definition but then if I spent forever on it there's some definition, and the ends are tighter curls 😭 My main problem is that I have a really weird curl pattern, with different curl types and even straight/loose wavy parts. My hair is confusing 💀
