i dont know why people use their own time to make people feel terrible about their art. its rude. theres no point or benefit to it. but overall, what you say is so real!! amazing art!!

i hate people that are rude to beginners so much. even worse, when you see someone not being a pos to the artists there's always some of them being like "you don't gotta lie to them lol" shut up??? just because you don't like something it doesn't mean no one else does omg. the internet infuriates me sometimes

I saw a video of a new artist and she was doing a video of how she draws bodies and ppl were saying “I can draw better” or “your art ist ugly🤢” like they are just young artist they have worked on their art and just bc u don’t like it or they just started doesn’t mean you can hate on them. I feel bad for the girl too since she was bullied into tracing/ stealing art😔

Omg, people these days. Art is something to express yourself not something you should be getting bullied from. The art community is going to be a empty like a forgotten wasteland if shit like this continues, i wish things like this would stop because it's probably going to spread to over platforms aside from tik tok soon.

“i open the comments gently.” is an absolutely wild thing to reference but it’s true, tt art comment sections have just become cesspools. its so horrible , like people just can’t be nice to each other if it meant their life. like they just cannot keep things to themselves. it’s saddening and frustrating.

I'm honestly so glad I'm not a beginner artist in this time and age. Back then, when I was a beginner, my art was shit, but many people praised me, saying they love my art and think it's good. Right now, people would bully me off the internet. I'm 16, and I'm not amazing at art but I'm not treated like shit because I'm somewhat good at art. This is hella sad, and it's mostly non artist who bully people.

I don't really understand why people had bullied her so badly. I mean its just her art style, even if you didn't like the way she draws who cares? just move on, ill never know why people cared SO much to shit on her in her comment section.

kids are so ruthless omfg, like they want to see the next puppy-chan or be the funny comment that gets the most likes for being so mean. it was clear the artist was trying to look for a more toony style and it works rlly well, but just because it looks slightly less realistic than before than its a whole issue apparently. i remember being on places like amino and ppl did criticize my art like my line thickness and things like that actually helped but just making mean jokes just because their art isn't top notch is so lame 😭

INUYASHA!!!!!! also, often times when you feel your art has gotten worse, that means you realize what you need to work on and so you do work on it, and it gets better by 10 fold!!!!! this happens when your art gets leveled up and that your playing with shapes and colors in that "bad" time. its always worked for me. i noticed how bad my anatomy was and i felt horrible and so i was determind to work on it, and at that time i could see all my mistakes and how to prevent them. keep going all you artists and dont listen or tbh, go on tiktok really.

You just got to remember all these idiots that feel confidence online making fun, being rude, laughing at people's misery, jackasses on internet but if it's reality they wouldn't be acting like that 😬 Edit: I know this because last week some idiot try me on YT comment section thinking he knows everything about me then when I told him I'll walk away he use another account to try to make me look bad I'm like wow I'm pretty sure if you met me in person you would have no guts or muts to say that to my face lol (plus I believe he is probably a little kid anyways and I use my other account to troll to him back lol 😂)

I have seen four videos (including this) about Cassypillar's situation already and the story is heartbreaking. Anyone can change their art style, and just because it no longer fits your standards doesn't mean it's bad. If you don't like it, then either give constructive criticism or just ignore it. Bullying and harassment should not be the main go-to option, it's psychologically damaging to those on the recieving end and people have even offed themselves or had their lives ruined because of it. Sadly this isn't the first time, I have heard many stories of TikTok users being vile to the point where I've gotten desensitized. That's why I try to leave positive comments on other artists' posts, tell them how they've improved and how they can improve in the future. I was bullied in high school and it really affected me, so the least I can do is make sure other people don't go through the same suffering I did.

My two cents? It seems like they decided (or were told, possibly by an IRL art teacher because this is quite common) that they should stop drawing as 'anime' but are still applying anime anatomy/methods to more realistic facial features, hence it looks a little 'off'.

I never like tiktok as much since I remember posting random videos and I did get negative comments for the first time. But I had calmed myself down telling myself I don't know these people and these people got nothing in their life.

To be far i started posting my art on tiktok in 2023 and i did get a lot of hate for using the shape tool because it was hard for me to draw bodies and legs because the phone pen my mom brought me was not good. But i got a new one that works, so my art looks more decent, and i got 248 followers because of that. I got some fan art and more support and less negative comments on my videos because i stop using the shape tool for buildings and bodies and legs. But i still use it for heads because I'm learning how to draw circles which makes my characters heads look big to the point people will make fun of me for my characters having big heads. Last time i checked,I've seen characters with big heads and small bodies before and no one complained about that, but them complaining about me having big head characters is ironic.
