If you have an account for your brand then I would use that but if you don’t have a brand account then I would start a new one

I do have a couple of questions for you., Will TikTok ban me if I do that with zero followers? Have they updated their conditions to require a minimum of 1,000 followers? Or can I still do it with a new account that has zero followers without the risk of being banned?

You have to have the product being displayed at some part of your video. But yes you can explain all of that. No right or wrong way. Just want to make a viral piece of content that gets people excited to buy

OK, so between 3 other videos I've watched on this, it doesn't really make sense for beginners to have to buy the products to make the videos for a little over 1K a month. The last guy had just over 1.5K in monthly sales, too, and he's a TikTok Shop guru. That was total between his multiple accounts according to his video. Is there an alternative to buying the products if you're still under 5K followers? How much do you spend verses your profit at the end of the month? Add in time.

You are spending $100 to start a business. If that’s too much for you then I wouldn’t recommend entrepreneurship. $100 goes towards products to then be able to make videos about. Once you establish yourself you can get all products for free but you have to build credibility first. $100 is nothing. And to take $100 and turn it into $100/ day is a ridiculously good ROI. So for a beginner it makes perfect sense 😅

I set up a seller account thinking that is what to do to be a TT Shop Affiliate. Then I was told by customer service that it is a seperate process and that a person cannot have their own shop and also be an affifliate. So, do I shut down this empty shop, wait the manadatory 30 days, and then apply to be an affiliate?? TT Customer service is literally worthless. I have spent hours trying to figure it out, chatting with customer service, and when they dont have the answer, they create a ticket and then nothing happens.

@@TrevinPeterson when i wrote empty shop, I am referring to the seller account with no items to sell, because I have nothing to sell, I am saying that I never wanted a shop of my own, The seller account and the user account are two different accounts, two different websites. they can be linked, but they are two different accounts. Update to the video - TikTok has canceled all TikTok shop users who have affiliate with less then 5k followers so in short, now you HAVE to have 1k followers (as per last update to requirements) ....period. But the end is not lost just keep active and post 1 to 2 videos a day, stay positive and keep to a nitch market, try not to exceed 2 video's a day, doesn't matter what time you post as long as you just post! Have a awesome ride. PS- this is in consideration if TikTok gets banned next year as of the recent events in the US.

Sadly not possible in germany so if anyone from the us could create an account for me we could share the money 50/50. You create the account and i make the videos. Just need someone from the US.
