Preach, I’ve heard that the only way to be a sustainable and full time TikToker is to basically have every video sponsored.

Yup! Which in turn is hard to get because if we make a video promoting a brand and/or product that wants us to encourage our followers to click off the app... The video is suppressed, meaning we have another roadblock that makes it hard to show other brands we have successful deals in our arsenal to continually get new ones. Also getting a sponsored video is a whole other pain in the butt because half don't even want to pay us. :(

I also find it insane how quickly a creator can go from fame to oblivion. It all has to do with the algorithm, what Tiktok decides to spread and show. They can go from no one, to semi-famous with millions of followers and each video hitting that million view mark, then BACK into oblivion all within a few months. Idk if it's Tiktok deciding to stop showing their videos or people loosing interest in five seconds or what it is, but it's terrifying to think about you guys working your ass off to get minimal funds and then just- nothing, until the next big viral thing and it all starts over again.

I’ve gone through that swing twice and let me tell you it breaks you because you then spend all your time to mimic the success of those videos while tiktok is making it impossible.

@@stressinabox I 100% understand your frustration. It's such an evil circle too, striving to hit virality once in a blue moon and then boom, straight back to failure. I hope you'll be able to get more people to come over here instead. You deserve to get rewarded for your amazing videos. ❤
