I’m actually nervous now, I’m planning on becoming an animator and putting effort into work that I’ll enjoy doing but somebody can easily take it, say it’s theirs, don’t give credit, and steal all the feedback that supposed to be for the actual person who put dedication to the animation in the first place! And since I’m a very small and not well known my content may be easier to take and harder to find credit for. I don’t even own any social media so I won’t even know whether it’s taken or not! I’m honestly really scared, HORRIFIED even!

When I get a TikTok account, I will be talking about this because a lot of people get copied and stolen from not very big channels and/or accounts and get a big reputation and it's not ok. People should stop this and make original things! Also you and other Roblox animators are inspiring me to make my own animations 😊 (once I get a computer 😅)

one time I was watching a block bench tutorial and I saw they copied the texture from my creepy pasta and didn't give me credit. So I sent a DM on their twitter saying if I can have credit and they decided to give me credit. But when they refuse, that's just asking for it!

I would really really REALLY recommend you at least watermark the characters's faces in some of the frames, make it slightly transparent as well. Then they will have a hard time cropping the watermarks. Sure it'll be annoying to see it in the faces of the frames but it works on most videos.

I don’t really animate but I make Gacha videos that take many screenshots and maybe some more days to edit and put everything together because maybe some days I can’t continue it cause I’m busy, I ended up seeing someone steal one of my videos and getting a lot of views and likes when it’s not their video, Idc how many likes or views I get on my videos but I work hard to make them and don’t want them stolen and have someone claim it as their own, They don’t know how long it takes for someone to make their videos

Zeryophyx, there is a unique way to stop people from stealing your content. Idea 1: put your watermark in the middle. (Always remember to make it translucent.) Idea 2: make some scenes that flashes: Example: “This video was made by flamingo, so please refrain from reposting or stealing this video” I hope this helps you zee ty :))

This is happening to me, my video got 110k views. And randomly stopped. And I was tagged in another that had 550k after a few hours. Idk never had this happen. No tags or anything

Yeah, someone just took one of my TikTok video's from 2021 that got 800k views and uploaded it 24 hours ago and got 500k views... I'm a little upset and went through the reporting process, just waiting... literally zoomed in on my video so that the watermark wouldn't show and claiming it as their own.. all my friends have been tagging me and the person has not responded back, so i am taking whatever action i can.
