I see a lot of people disagreeing here saying protection is more preferred, but protecting just solves the surface level problem, rather than that, wouldn't a solution that picks the problem out from the root of the situation be better? Expect bad men who don't care what they are taught to take advantage of you when you wear inappropriate things. Also, it is respectful to the men around you to wear modest clothing since they have a stronger drive for sex and are very visually turned on. This will help them to respect you more and will lessen the temptation that your body on display would bring. I don't know if you dress this way or not. I just took your meaning of wearing whatever you want as something along those lines since most people don't object to modest clothing.

As an Indian, teenage girl, I’m really not allowed to wear shorts or crop tops. Even if the shorts come almost up to my thighs or even if the crop tops reach my waist. Is extremely sad how the men treat women. Not just here, but around the world. We cannot wear sleeveless that much or anything that has a slightly low neck. All this why? Because somebody hasn’t bothered to teach their son about respect. My family is very forward and supportive of me dressing according to the trends so only when they’re around, I’m ok with wearing proper clothes. But what about when I move out and start living on my own? Do I have to only wear clothes that will only show my neck and ankles? And if we wear something even the least revealing, let’s say shorts that come up to your knees, men will stare, try to touch you, whistle etc. what kind of an environment is this for anyone to grow up in? And I don’t depend on anyone for transport, so I cycle almost everywhere. I’ve been chased by men who wanted to touch my legs, or butt. I seriously wish the mothers would take the initiative to teach their sons about this and them to be gentlemen and RESPECT not only woman, but EVERYONE.

Sometimes I felt so bad because I was born as a woman and since I was little I always wanted to be a man, not because I felt like I was a man or trans, just because I hated being a woman, at school, at home and even with my own perception of myself, misogynistic thoughts were always there, I have lived looking for men’s attention because otherwise I thought I was worthless and almost everything in my life I did it around men’s pleasure. But now I am trying to learn to love and respect myself and change this wrong perception I have of women, because I am so tired of hating who I am and I just want to feel happy with my existence. I was looking for this kind of videos for a long time and somehow it made me feel better, thank you.

You're not the only one sis, I'm there with you fighting my own fight. It does get batter, the more you practice. One thing that personally helped me, was understanding that feminine energy is not week vs masculine energy being strung. And the society associates feminine energy with women, and masculine energy with men. Making I seem as if though men are batter, because of there masculine energy assigned to them. It all comes down to understanding the feminine energy is equally strong with masculine energy. This is also where toxic masculinity comes in, the disadvantage for men because of the patriarchal society which assigned the roles for men and women. Men aren't supposed to cry, and can't be feminine cause they need to be man, and femininity is beneath them, like crying. All people have feminine and masculine energy, despite there gender, anyone can have more of one energy then the other. But all have both energies. Not even talking about that there are more then just two genders, which the patriarchal society dismisses causing oh sooooo many other problmes. But I'll be here all day, if I'll go on 😂😅. I hope this might help you as well, peace ✌
