It's not the doctors working on teens as young as 14 that you should come for, it's the parents. At that age they still need parental consent to get the surgery done.

Veneers are very expensive, you pay for it per tooth. It only lasts for 10-20 years. The shark teeth is permanent though because they have to drill your teeth to remove a thin layer of enamel which makes your teeth more vulnerable to heat and cold. Veneers are too thin to protect your teeth from hot and cold foods.

I just became a teen recently and i started to watch people of my age on tiktok like piper rockelle, elliana basically their whole squad, coco quinn and other young people and the beauty standards they have set is incredible like piper wears curves revealing clothes which made me feel extremely insecure for months untill I finally realized that they are unrealistic and fake and also inappropriate for my age to do this stuff

The facial structure of most teens is still developing. That doctor should have his license revoked

The real problem with veneers is that you have to get them replaced every few years, and that requires filing your teeth down more and more, and when you start the procedure at a young age, you are bound to pretty much lose your teeth by the age of 50

Omg yes, I broke 2 teeth so I got veneers to replace them when I was 14. I remember my 2 teeth being super filed down to a nub. I'm 27 now and my dentist said i need them replaced ASAP.

As a dental assistant PLEASE don’t get veneers as a teenager!!!!!! The actual problem with getting veneers (at a young age) is that you get your healthy tooth drilled down to the dentine (that’s why it’s gonna be hypersensitive) (the tooth actually has three layers: enamel, dentine and pulps). And yes, it’s true that you have to change your veneers. Please take care of your healthy teeth. The worst case scenario, those young adults and teenager have to get their tooth extracted or get a root canal treatment by the time they are 30+.

When I’m older, around 20 or 21 I want to get a nose job. My nose isn’t terrible but it’s still one of my biggest insecurities. But the fact people are trying to go viral for it is just INFURIATING🤬 and most of them only do it for the likes. My oldest sister has seen an unbelievable increase of this procedure request at her office by her patients! She said a majority of them are in theirs teens to early twenties and she tries to plead with them to reconsider paying for it on such young healthy teeth but they wont hear. the upkeep is more that people realize and of your not an avid flosser you most likely will have to get them replaced sooner that the ten year average.

So sad that 14yr old girls are having these surgery’s 😔and the parents so be accountable for it. Your awesome Anna 🤗
