I feel you on your rant at the end. I had a linguistic teacher who was demonstrating the phonetic of a certain asian language and he kept making eye contact with me to demonstrate the different pronunciations assuming I knew the difference. It was the most annoying yet ignorant shit I ever seen. 😂
