the amount of times i have checked to make sure i was muted in class has been incredible. but once i was left unmuted and all you could hear was a notification. so i'm a good child. edit: my baby brother was unmuted as i walked past singing mr. blue sky. his entire class heard me sing mr. blue sky.

The app I use for my online classes asks you before you turn on your mic or camera. For the mic it asks if you want to turn it on and then it does a test to see if you can hear yourself and for the camera it shows how you look before you actually show yourself. I hope that made sense 💀 So that’s pretty cool

Literally the third day of school I started having panic attacks and waking up and crying. This shit did not happen in the summer. Sometimes I have panic attacks every once in a while and I bet from now on imma have panic attacks all the time.

I hope you get this figured out, but for now hang in there. I’ve also been dealing with a similar problem but not as bad as you, I think. For me to cope I’ve started taking a higher dose of my anxiety medicine on school days (although I hadn’t been taking a very high dose in the first place). If you’re able I would really recommend seeing your doctor or therapist if you have one, if not I would high recommend you try breathing exercises if you haven’t, they might sound kind of dumb but it really helps to calm you down. Also, since you mentioned that you have panic attacks when you wake up it might be good to invest in a weighted blanket if you have the money/materials to make one. I know they help with reducing panic attacks. I really hope you’re feeling better soon.

the thing that hurts the most is when your not on mute and do something embarrassing. like, me trying to hit a high note but my mic was on. and that one time i was in a call with my friend and i was calling her name on my way out of the bathroom and my teacher was like “(my name) you not in mute” and i was like “fuck this shit i’m out” but i had to stay until the end of the lesson. at least my camera wasn’t on. on both of the incidents, OH WAIT I HAD ONE IN MUSIC CLASS my teacher unmuted me and i was at the bathroom i was either signing or talking to myself. i hate when this shit happens.
