After using this cutter I found the sweet spot. Just the weight of the handle is all that’s needed for this Ceramic Tile.

Bro, First time I ever saw a Felker Model FC-18 on the highest quality Italian tile and it cut so perfect point to point that I’d use it for the next 25 years only needing a grinder for inside corner and toilet hole cut. It’s the FC series with the retractable foot so it cuts an 18” tile diagonal point to point so good it’s a practical slide cutter. FC-16,18&26. I purchased all 3 every few years till they VANISHED. I did find a KZfaq video with a Chinese Copy using the exact same design but I was never able to track them down. Nor was I ever able to find ANY other slide cutter that did the same exact thing. Iv looked for another cutter that has the retractable foot but they simply don’t exist and this is why so few use the cutters. Had enough setters used the FC series it would still be sold. You familiar with this cutter?

I have the same 1. The only problem I have found is it doesn't cut straight. 24 inch tiles are 1 inch off from the front to the back. I'm waiting to hear back from qep. If you mark both side for your cut it's no problem.

Tile never needs to be cut straight and you have to mark both sides (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pLN2mZeUrtzYpok.html ). Unless you built the house yourself. But I'm sure by now QEP has told you the same. Tools are designed for the normal use case.

I have the same tile cutter with the same problem. I put a dime on one end to make the cut end ups straight.

@@LeoArzaga at the top part where you put your piece against, I put a dime or something close to that width on one side. It makes the tile sit slanted. That little slant, straightens out the cut.

I'd rather have that bad cut than have the city post a STOP WORK ORDER on my bad dog sign hanging on my front gate. My neighbors would take naps at noon and the sound of progress seems to annoy them so they called the city on me for cutting tiles mid day on my wet tile saw. My rented neighbors no longer take naps there at noon ever since the city kicked them out of the house since it was rented to 3 different families.

Don't both it... Iam tile installer. That one only cute porcelain tile, if you try cute ceramic tile all go tl broke... I just trashed my one.

It’s how you used !! It cut both you just don’t know how to used !! Very simple…plus you don’t throw it you returned on top you liar to the audience 🤣🤣🤣🤣
