I’m going to tell you guys a story. I am a 21 year old, who is a licensed apprentice electrician. For my entire life, I been super happy and always enjoyed life. I use to ride my bike with friends, and get online and play cod with the boys online. One day at work I was doing some testing and someone turned on the power and I got shocked with a lot of electricity. The electrity held me for a few seconds until somehow I let go. I stared into an emptiness void. Wondering what happened, why am I here and why am I alive. It’s been about a month since then, I am no longer joyful and bright. Everything is now nothing, I feel like I’ve lost myself, lost my self in an endless void. People started to notice the changes, not the happy and fun guy like I use to be. Life hit, and it hit hard. I never felt so empty and without emotion, almost if life never had a purpose.

to me this feels like... walking through a childhood park, watching your younger self play with friends still having pure happiness in your soul. your younger self just keeps passing by you while playing. having an ear to ear grin on their face. you realizing that you've changed in many ways. you grown up faster then you wanted, being in a body you disagree with. thinking about how time past. you now fake smile and fake laugh. missing the pure happiness that once filled you. having toxic friends but not getting rid of them. missing childhood friends that drifted. everything that changed in your life hits you. you missing the way things used to be. if you feel like you dont matter in life, just know you do. i will listen to you, people you love will listen. just know you are wanted and loved. most importantly this random stranger saying this to you loves you. they also think your very beautiful/handsome and that you should keep moving in life. things may not get better but know if you decide your best off not in this world, people will regret how they treated you after. i love you and keep pushing forward

so my grandfather died and now i'm here laying on the floor of his garden. There was his favorite place and i can't hold my tears thinking about all that he went through until now, he was suffering a lot and i knew this day was comming. He kept saying that he had a good life and enjoyed every little thing about it, he was a wise man and an inspiration for myself, always remembering me to follow my dreams with a good humour and a joke for any hour. He was strong and a very grateful man, i'll miss him so much that i can't describe it in words. I am a very lucky person to have had him as my grandfather... Thank you for being this strong grandpa, i hope your pain is gone now.

Yesterday I turned 18, for months I thought about improving my life and getting ahead when I turned 18. Just a day later, all those ugly feelings returned. I've been wasting time in my room for almost 3 years without being able to get ahead, constantly saying to myself, tomorrow will be a better day, but it's never like that, it's just the same and the same and the same, constant fights, self-hatred, etc. Sometimes I feel like there is no light at the end of the road.

Everyone is mentioning not being suicidal when listening to this and that they just like the vibe or it makes them appreciate life, not to be quirky, but the reason I listen to this song a lot is because it means something to me, it connects me to someone. Me and this person are very close and in about 4 years when im allowed to freely date without my parents blocking them and confiscating all of my electronics to prevent my contact with them (im 14) me and that person are planing to date or at least still be close friends. This song really connects to a “core memory” of mine that I share with this person.
