I absolutely love this story and love the idea of a swim run!! Can you confirm what the rope that they’re wearing is for? Is this event only open to seasoned professionals or can anyone enter?

Thank you! The rope is to help the teams stick together. They can also use it to pull each other during the swim and runs. You can qualify for ÖTILLÖ The Swimrun World Championship by ranking or a podium place at the World Series races. otilloswimrun.com/
