I still can't believe ppl don't know him much in the US considering he got nominated for Tony Awards for his role as Valjean on Broadway. I'm a Metallica fan and yet remember him from his performance in POTO at the 25th anniversary.

Scott Hamp Ramin mentioned in an interview that he only sings the classic _Til' I Hear You Sing_ version when there's a music ensemble. He generally performs the modern rendition when there's just a band so his voice doesn't overwhelm the music.

His voice is fantastic, much better in fact than on this homemade video. His great voice aside, I'll always remember him from his naked centerfold with just the phantom mask covering his privates! He'd even make Barbra say, "Hello, Gorgeous!"
